HAND-CRAFTED UGGS
The Elder Statesman embarked on a broad exploration of craft by tapping our local community of like-minded craftspeople and artists. Alongside the TES collection, the lookbook features the work of a number of local California artists and craftspeople, including 16 hand-crafted UGG shoes-- an iconic Californian brand.
Working across mediums, the UGGs include a psychedelic hand-blown glass version, hand-woven basketry, tattoo, metalwork, ceramics, and beading. These one-of-a-kind works, which will not be produced, blur the lines between art, craft, and fashion.
